What are my619.com websites like?

We study the trends in the web design industry and build quality websites that incorporate new technologies while maintaining tried and true principles to being a success online. We design easy to navigate, aesthetically appealing, cross-browser (and operating system) compliant, fast-loading websites that are geared toward developing returning visitors.

Our websites are built on an open source CMS (Content Management System), MODx, which allows for the end user (you) to be able to maintain your site and content. It’s a very powerful CMS that allows for a great degree of customization while not sacrificing essential things like maintaining SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

What is SEO and why is so important to my website?

SEO or Search Engine Optimization, in a nutshell is designing a website in such a way that it is maximumly optimized to cause search engines to rank your site higher. When search engines (i.e. Google) “look” at your website, your content, link popularity, and coding if all done correctly will result in your ranking higher in search engines. Does this mean that my website will rank on the first page of a search engine within a few weeks after launching? Our answer (which if you speak with any reputable SEO firm will echo this as well) is “No”...at least not in the organic (non-sponsored link area) area. But by marketing your website in a pay per click campaign, you can be placed on the first few pages of search engines (for certain keywords) based off how much you are willing to pay for each click. Does my619.com develop E-Commerce websites?

Yes! Not only do we offer e-commerce, but we are pleased to offer a very easy to maintain e-commerce solution that integrates in beautifully into your CMS. We design our e-commerce using Foxy Cart, an amazing new product that allows you to have a shopping cart solution that is SEO. Also if you’ve had any experience with e-commerce in the past, you probably experienced having to maintain your shopping cart system using a different program than your CMS. With Foxy Cart, you can integrate directly into MODx allowing you to easily maintain your products and getting a shopping cart that looks identical to the rest of your site.
