Foxy Cart + MODx Tutorial 1

Tutorial 1: Basic Integration of Foxy Cart into MODx

This is the first of several Screencast I'm going to do to explain how to integrate Ecommerce into MODx using Foxy Cart. MODx is our favorite CMS at My619.com and we have found that Foxy Cart allows us to set up Ecommerce for our clients at a very affordable price.

If you have any specific tutorials you would like to see for MODx and Foxy Cart, please feel free to email us at: modx_foxycart@my619.com and we will try to develop that tutorial. We're going to try and produce a new video every week (let me stress try) and we'll build the tutorials based off of requests.

Straightforward, not too fast, not too slow, and very clear. Excellent work, you really helped me out to get started with FoxyCart.

Hi. This is a very easy to follow tutorial! Thanks so much. I am looking forward to seeing the next step. I am particularly interested in how do you manage the upload of images, and the resize or creation of thumbs.

Thank you, this has been very helpful for me in understanding how to implement Foxycart and even on understanding things like TV's in MODx more clearly. I would really love to see some other, and perhaps more advanced tutorials from you. But then I know there is life and reality and that time is a luxury! So thank you for this, and I'd be stoked if you have time for another.

Thank you for putting in the work to create this excellent tutorial! I'm a relative newbie and have been using MODx on a number of sites but new to eCommerce. Your tutorial has taken down the barriers and I can't wait to give it a go. Well done!

I have only just installed modX yesterday, and I thought I might start doing some reading on small tutorials to get me started. Then I found your video blog on how to get started with foxycart. Very nicely transmitted, and very easily recieved. Will you be making another few movies based on more foxycart tutorials? I really look forward to seeing more, as a picture paints a 1000 words as you would know.

Thank you very much for the insight.
